Me, Me, Me and Maybe then You - Charlie Westerberg by Estev & Belloso

First and foremost I have to apologize for not posting regularly, lately. Aside from work, helping out a friend with their new house, dinner dates and fashion weeks. I literally had just enough time to eat, go to the gym and sleep in between. Well that's why I'm taking the weekend as is and canceling anything prior planned. I'm beat and I need to relax.

Well Happy Weekend my fashionistos and fashionistas!

I close the week with an editorial that appears on the latest issue of Carbon Copy with the title, You Are No. 1. Charlie Westerberg poses for Estevez and Belloso in this simple but great editorial for the magazine. Westerberg is styled Adele Cany in pieces from Burberry, Fred Perry, and Hugo Boss.

Hush Hush - Jack Vanderhart by Rodrigo Ruiz

Another busy day ahead of me. Work and then social responsibility aka dinner with friends later tonight. I will also have to find time to sneak in some gym time, somewhere in between. This week has been none stop work. I'm also afraid to look at my email knowing what I'm going to find there, Deadlines. I will keep this short and wish everybody a great day.

Happy Hump Day, at least!

In today's editorial we have Jack Vanderhart as lensed by Rodrigo Ruiz and styled by Carolina  Cantor. Cantor outfitted the VNY model with color ensembles by Zara, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Richard Chai and Paul Smith to name a few. The editorial is called Color Guard.

In To The Woods - Ricardo Figueiredo & Seth Kuhlmann by Josh McNey

After the long weekend and a generally long day yesterday. The moment I plop myself on my bed last night, I was already falling asleep. I have a few shows that I need to watch from the Milan fashion show and I'm tempted to just browse the pictures online. I know it'll be a short cut but it seemed like I don't have any time at all these days. If my schedule holds, today would be an easy-breezy day. I'm hoping and wishing that it would be.

In today's editorial post, we have Ricardo Figueiredo and Seth Kuhlmann as photographed by Josh McNey. The duo appeared as part of the new issue of Flaunt magazine entitled A Pragmatic Trip Into The Haunted Forrest with the styling of Long Nguyen. The was wearing pieces by Givenchy, Dolce & Gabbana, Y-3, Calvin Klein and Prada to name a few.

Runway Monday: Relax, You're On Vacation - Valentino Spring/Summer 2013

I think sometimes when I try to de-stress and get away from the city life, that's the time I find myself get connected and "stuck" at work on my Mac. Granted I should have known because Milan menswear fashion week began on Saturday and Pitti Uomo in Florence a few days before that. But no matter how long my long weekend, it's always not long enough. Sitting here, finally home and preparing for my week, I wish, I have one more day.

Happy Monday, my fashionistos and fashionistas.

The Milan menswear round-up will be coming this week.

One of the shows that I love from the Pitti Uomo is the Valentino collection. For Spring/Summer 2013 the collection is younger and played with a more interesting silhouettes than the previous collection. Even though the color story is getting mixed reviews I love it. The olives and deep blues are my favorites. I also love how the more brighter colors are used to color block the outerwear and pants. The camo jackets are wonderful as well. The accessories are as great as the clothing. I love the leather portfolios!

Overall, I love the collection but to me it felt a little more of a pre-fall than a full pledged Spring/Summer but as I get to see more shows every year the Milano shows tend to be that way. So I digress. Besides after all those shiny, metallic pieces that's been parading the Milano collections, this collection is such a nice break from the shine.

The Valentino man found a younger, more urban spirit and I'm loving it.

R E S P E C T - Alejandro Rodriguez, Ferran Calderon, Knut Roertveit, & Graham Winfield by YOYE

Okay, I have a new respect for those manual labor people. Yesterday i was again helping my friend paint for roughly eight hours. My body was hurting like I just did Tough Mudder at the end of the night. Then again, I went to the gym right before too, I guess that didn't help. Resulting to changed of plans of a night out to a night in with some friends. Beer and a movie didn't sound bad at all, topped it off with vanilla ice cream and brownies at the end of the night. I know not doing anything for my diet/work out regimen.

Milan menswear fashion week started earlier today. I know I didn't get home till late but today I woke up to catch a few shows. I mean I wont sleep till after Paris Menswear fashion week anyway.

By the way, the whole changing of the YSL to Saint Laurent Paris was a little jarring but oh well. But I do prefer the YSL more or I'm just used to it.

Happy Weekend everybody!

I'm closing the week of with an editorial that pays tribute to 2012 Olympics that appeared the debut issue of Axel magazine. Alejandro Rodriguez, Ferran Calderon, Knut Roertveit and Graham Winfield were way up the diving boards for photographer YOYE. Esau Yori outfitted the "Olympians" with pieces by Dior Homme and Marc Jacobs.

Sure, I Remember - Simon Nessman by Tiziano Magni

I know it's only been roughly a couple of years since I graduated from college but it's just funny to bump into Fraternity and Sorority people and how they drastically they've change. It's sad, happy and weird at the same time. I guess the right word would be surreal. I think that sometimes I wish that I could have done things differently but then again, if I did that means I wont have the memories that I have and truly enjoy. Such a double edge sword, memories.

It's finally Friday.

Today we have Simon Nessman for the latest issue of Numero Homme China. The editorial is shot by Tiziano Magni and styled by Joseph Carle with pieces by Christian Louboution, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana. The editorial is titled "The Single Man" which I thought is very appropriate.

Green with Envy - Sebastian Sauve by Junji Hata

I never got that saying. Does one really turn green when they're envious? Regardless, such an ugly trait.   Well I can't honestly say that I've never been envious of somebody, because that would be a lie. I just never got to a point that I obsess about it. I guess that goes with any negative trait. I see it as a waste of energy. When you can use that energy to do something more productive.

In today's editorial story, we have top model Sebastian Sauve as shot by Junji Hata for the June issue of Sense magazine. Hiroyuki Kai styles Sauve in the Spring/Summer 2012 offerings by Tom Ford. I love that Tom Ford's collection exudes an essence of dandy mixed with a little American playboy but all dapper.
