The Way You Look Tonight - Heath Hutchins by Chiun-Kai Shih

Over the weekend, the Bubs and I had an opportunity to play house. My housemates were not home during our anniversary weekend. Not planned but I wasn't complaining. Great music, two bottles of Veuve Clicquot, a crackling fireplace and one Hollywood screen kiss while "The Way You Look Tonight" plays on the background. Perfection.

Hopefully, everybody had an amazing weekend as I did.

Note to self: My tub barely holds two people without making a big wet mess.

Today, we have an editorial that appeared on the pages of He-Man magazine featuring New York Models talent, Heath Hutchins. The fashion story was shot by Chiun-Kai Shih and styled by Giorgio Ammirabile. The shoot featured fashions by Lacoste, Carlo Pignatelli, Marni and Byblos to name a few.

BFFs and Frenemies - Matt Woodhouse, Edward Wilding, Tyler Maher & Pietro by Thomas Cooksey

The hardest thing that one could try to understand would be the amount of influence that your friends have over you. I would like to say that I'm an individual. In more ways than one, I am. But then these little moments of open heart talks made me feel like, "this is why we are friends." Lovers come and go, but friends will always be there for you.

The week went by pretty quick for me albeit a slight snag when I got back to work on Tuesday after a five-day weekend. It was great to see the Bubs eventhough the in-laws were in tow. Okay, honestly they weren't that bad. I just had to endure a day doing touristy things.

Well the weekend is here.

We close the week with an editorial that appeared on the latest issue of GQ China Style. The sporty fashion story featured models, Matt Woodhouse, Edward Wilding, Tyler Maher & Pietro and photographed by Thomas Cooksey. The editorial featured fall/winter fashions from Givenchy, Versace, Emporio Armani and Neil Barrett to name a few. The boys were styled by Luke Day.

This would just me being hyper critical and being a hockey player myself. The thing I don't get was why they have football paddings and helmets on an ice rink?

Make You Feel My Love - Wouter Peelen by Dean Isidro

Sometimes when you think things won't get any better, it does. I mean I could ask for more things and I mean fashion things but what's important in my life is within my reach right now. My family, my friends, and my one and only. I think sometimes we hear a fresh perspective about a situation and you look at things in a different light. I love, absolutely love the feeling that I'm feeling right now. I think with each day, everything gets clearer.

It doesn't mean that I will get everything. Sacrifices have to be made.  But it is one step closer.

and to open the week I would like to share this nugget of wisdom that someone shared to me over the weekend.

"Marriage isn't for you. You don't marry to make yourself happy, you marry to make someone else happy. More than that, your marriage isn't for yourself, you're marrying for a family. Not just for the in-laws and all of that nonsense, but for your future children. Who do you want to help you raise them? Who do you want to influence them? Marriage isn't for you. It's not about you. Marriage is about the person you married."

We open the week with a cover story from Vogue Hombre's latest issue. It features Wouter Peelen as shot by Dean Isidro. The editorial is styled by Christopher Cambell with pieces by Dries Van Noten, Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander, N. Hoolywood, and Tom Ford to name a few.

Home - Drew Vine by Christian Ferretti

If I can convince time to slow up and give me time to grow up. . .

There are times in our lives where it would be nice to start over. Slow things a bit, enjoy things as they are before it either passed or moved to the next level. I know a little melodramatic but now that I'm in this position in my life where I feel like "where did yesterday go?" Anxiety is not anybody's friend. I'm not regretting anything but it would nice to slow things down a bit. If one thing I will get out of this, is to love again. Coming from a generation where we see our future started yesterday and we're already late. I might be standing alone.

We close the week with and editorial that appears on the pages of Hero Magazine. It features upcoming model from Click models of Los Angeles, Drew Vine. The fashion story is shot by Christian Ferretti and styled by Gro Curtis in my wonderful backyard, San Francisco. Fashion pieces by Vivienne Westwood, Prada, Alexander McQueen and reping SF, Mr. S Leather.
