Silence Is Golden - Ivan Gonzales, Harry Goodwins, Jibril, Emil, Andy Walters & Marcus Parkin by Mariano Vivanco

Halloween week is here! So how many costumes do you have? I honestly don't remember the last time that I actually wore a costume from the halloween store. I tend to take a more sophisticated approach to Halloween. First, those costumes look cheap. Second, it's always mortifying seeing the same costume on someone else and Third, where's the creativity on that? This year I'm all about masks. I wore a veil adorned by a butterfly over my mouth inspired by the movie poster Silence of The Lambs and the couture show by Giambattista Valli from last Friday's Halloween party and I have in my hands a Maison Martin Margiela  mask. I don't know if I'll be wearing it to one of the parties on Thursday. We shall see.

Halloween will not be the only thing I'm looking forward this week. Somebody is coming to visit me at the end of week. I'm pretty excited about that but not the in-laws part. I'm just kidding, I think.

We open the week with a cover story for the upcoming issue of DSection magazine. The editorial is shot by the great Mariano Vivanco and styled by Paolo Zagoreo with pieces by my favorite designer, Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy. The fashion story features models Ivan Gonzales, Harry Goodwins, Jibril, Emil, Andy Walters, and Marcus Parkin and joined by Betty Adewole.

This Moment - Call of Duty by Livia Alcalde

That's what we really have, all we have is this moment. Sometimes we have to make decisions that would probably be healthy for all the party concerned. I think above all else, my legal significant other, my life and my happiness comes above all. I'm willing to burn bridges if I have to. I can be compulsive but I'm also logical. I do think everything through. That's why I like solving dilemmas that comes my way by myself. The only opinion I trust, is my own. Like I said besides my immediate family, everybody else is replaceable. hashtag tough skin. I think that a time apart would be good, indeed.

The problem with growing up in society, I learn to be made of plastic. I will endure as much as I can till I reach a breaking point. Things said is said and we can't really take it back. We can not push rewind.

Cie la vie.

We close the weekend with this beautiful editorial that appears on the newest issue of L'Officiel Hommes Thailand. It casts an army of male super models including Aaron Vernon, Alexandre Cunha, Leebo Freeman, Harry Curran, Nick Warkus, Ton Heukels, Harry Goodwins, Justus Ensfeld, Lukas Katinas, Nicolas Hagius, Nicolai Otta, Lucas Ziegele, Paul Boche, Demy Matzen, Malcolm de Ruiter, Ryan Barrett, Luca Jamel, Marcel Nestler, Andre Bona, Ian Sharp, Norman Theuekorn, and Lex Olsen. The story is shot by Livia Alcalde and styled by Pablo Patane with military inspired pieces by Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Reek, and Maison Martin Margiela to name a few. I've always said give me something militaristic and I love it.

Something Borrowed, Something Blue - Janis Ancens by Jacob Sutton

Who knew how stressful wedding planning could be, I mean it was affecting every part of my life. I just started last week to be honest. Now I know why my sister was so on edge when she got married. I could hire a wedding planner but my type A personality would probably get me so hands on that I would do everything anyway. Le sigh. AND what's up with Mom-in-laws wanting to plan things themselves. I know they would be more familiar with the area but after all, This would be my wedding ceremony. I love her but relax!

On other news, since I "technically" married a Canadian I should have been celebrating Thanksgiving yesterday, October 14th. Weird. I mean as if people were still celebrating Columbus Day or anything anyway.

Hope everybody's week is going well.

In today's editorial we have Elite Models Milano talent, Janis Ancens as he appeared on the pages of Numero Homme. The project was shot by Jacob Sutton and styled by Jean Michel Clerc. The vibrant fashion story featured coveted prints for fall/winter from the collections of Dior Homme, Kenzo, Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen to name a few.

I really wish I could get everybody to wear high fashion pieces for my wedding. That would be my dream wedding.

Driving In Cars With Boys - Eian Scully, Oraine Barrett, Josh Truesdell, Matt Giesler, Anthony Gallo, Alexey Potseluev, Matthew Coatswort, Brian Shimansky, Kenneth Guidroz Jr. & Justin Hopwood by Richard Phibbs

After a stretch of California weather for the last couple of days, tonight, it seems like Fall is upon us San Franciscans. So should start cycling out my Spring/Summer clothes for coats and sweaters? Probably not. What kind of San Franciscan would I be if I didn't know that it cools down at night?Which is also probably why I feel like I'm missing New York these days. I need seasons in my life.

As much as I love the warm weather that we've been getting here in Northern California. Hello, people wearing less clothes! I need the cooler weather, and the colors of fall more specifically. I need a reason to wear my $1,000 Juun J. neoprene sweater, for Pete's sake! I'm only half kidding.

A few projects coming up at work, some planned trips too and spending my free time at the gym, watching movies(I partially saw Gravity) and driving in cars with boys. It is safe to say that my week is going by just fine.

Well, Happy Hump Day my fashionistos and fashionistas!

Today we have an editorial that appears on the newest issue of DSection magazine. Featuring Soul Artist Management talents, Eian Scully, Oraine Barrett, Josh Truesdell, Matt Giesler, Anthony Gallo, Alexey Potseluev, Matthew Coatsworth, Brian Shimansky, Kenneth Guidroz Jr. and Justin Hopwood as photographed by the talented Richard Phibbs. Joseph Episcopo styles the shoot with winter coats by Canali, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, and Versace to name a few. Trying not to sound biased but I really like this editorial!

A Thousand Years - Daniel Roberts, Josh Bartley & Marti Medina by Jeff Hahn

I think that sometimes we find ourselves at a point where our path takes us to a fork on the road. I think to ere is to be human. We are not perfect, eventhough we would like to think that we are. I think that living apart from the Bubs makes it harder really. Sometimes I struggle to remember why am I in this situation. Living apart from the one you love is taxing. Temptation is just too strong at times.

Then I remember laughing at Copacabana beach in Rio at 2am. Losing myself at this person's eyes as the ocean breaks by our feet. Then I remember why, I can't imagine living without this crazy person in my life. No man nor woman can change that.

If that's not love then I don't know what love is.

Love. Respect. Loyalty.

Hashtag Life Lessons B*tch.

Today we have editorial that appears on the September issue of Wonderland. It features models Daniel Roberts, Josh Bartley and Marti Medina as photographed by Jeff Hahn and styled by Matthew Josephs.
