Smiling Models? - Frankie Morello Spring/Summer 2011

Most of the time male models on the runway usually look like expressionless zombies with nice clothes but not on Frankie Morello's S/S 2011 show designed by Maurizio Modica and Pier Francesco Giliotti. They are smiling and looked like they are actually having fun. The collection and the show itself personifies fun (Ibiza, no?), it made me want to be there. Sure I don't really agree that crop tops should ever come back to fashion, I mean EVER. The 80's inspired collection was not bad at all. Did somebody say fanny-packs? I love the use of purple and yellow in the collection. The pieces with the straps were my favorite in the collection.
