Just Easy - Dmitriy Tanner by Milan Vukmirovic

It surprise me that one piece of clothing that I thought looked horrendous from the last year's spring/summer show was that Calvin Klein Midriff(?) shirt and yet the said piece is making its round at some of the season's latest editorials. Regardless, In this editorial that appeared on L'Officiel Hommes magazine, Soul Artist Management model, Dmitriy Tanner was photographed by one of my favorite photographer Milan Vukmirovic and styled with pieces from Lacoste, Calvin Klein, and Kris Van Assche to name a few. Well I know that Calvin Klein piece . . . sorta looked good on Dmitriy but it makes me cringe to wonder what would I do if I see somebody wearing it on the street.

Runway Monday: Fraternity - Marlon Gobel Fall/Winter 2011/12 Review

Since the next major men's show is roughly four months away, I decided to highlight some of my favorite shows from the recent men's fashion week(s) round up. As part of a weekly blogging schedule . . . until further notice or otherwise.

Well I should start with my newly found "love" for Marlon Gobel. The show was entitled The Secret Order and was, I think, one of the best men's show in NYC fashion week. Okay, okay one might say that the collection was relevant because of the Louboutin shoes which was amazing by its own. But the collection was really quite something, whimsical at times but very wearable. I love the suit jackets that seemed to be painted canvas. I was never really a big fan of thick knitted sweaters but as a collection it looked really nice. The color story was vibrant and very on point. The presentation of the collection is not bad at all. The video I included has some backstage footage, then to the show. Happy Monday everybody.

Ken Doll - Aaron Bruckner by Armin Morbach

For the 50th anniversary of Barbie's boytoy I mean boyfriend, GQ Germany tapped Kult German model Aaron Bruckner to be Ken and Alex Sandor as Barbie. Apparently Ken likes to wear pieces from Calvin Klein, and Versace. To tell you the truth, it was a little creepy to see a life size Ken and of course, they just have to do a pantless shot. The editorial was shot by Armin Morbach and styled by Klaus Stockhausen. Happy weekend, everybody, see you all on Monday.

Dream Sequence - Smalto Spring/Summer 2011

One of my favorite french high fashion house Smalto released their Spring/Summer 2011 Campaign. The campaign features Marilyn model, Sean Harju photographed by Richard Bernardin and styled by Romain Vallos. It's Friday and the weekend awaits us, my fashionistos and fashionistas.

The Thom Browne Experience - AJ Abualrub by Chris Craymer

AJ Abualrub was featured on Veron with spring/summer 2011 dandy looks from designer Thom Browne. The editorial entitled Thom Browne Territory was photographed by Chris Craymer and styled by Toby Grimditch. I love the black and white, grainy feel to the whole editorial. I always wanted to wear these looks, shorts with high socks but I'm not sure how it will be received in San Francisco.

The Bright Future - Paul Boche & Keno by Dean Isidro

In this very bright colored editorial that appeared on Elite Traveler. Fusion model, Paul Boche and Q management's Keno model from (lately) very editorial looks from Jil Sander and Prada. I'm not entirely sure if I liked the pastels but I do love my purple and blues but probably not together. Photographed by Dean Isidro and styled by Micah Johnson. Happy Hump day!
