Looking - Paolo Anchisi by Adrian Mesko

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I thought I needed to gather myself and actually catch up on some work. Funny, how I have so much free time on my hands these days. London, Milan, and Paris menswear shows just happened and I'm quite excited how great some of the collections looked. Of course, I had my favorites like Frankie Morello, Vivienne Westwood, Givenchy (of course), Kris Van Assche, Dior Homme to name my top picks.

The thing I'm (sorta) hating would be the unseasonal warm weather that we've been having. Okay, I know that the whole country was or still is on a polar freeze but not us Californians. I really should accept the fact that I wont be wearing any of my heavy knitwear, neoprene sweaters and heavy coats while I'm here in my beloved San Francisco. I know it will be rough on my skin when I finally get to New York for NYFW next week.

Which on another part, I am excited and very anxious to see the changes for this season's fashion week among other things.

On a final note, HBO's Looking? Umm . . . what?! Disappointment, that was what it was. Although it did feature my neighborhood's laid back watering holes.

Today's editorial appeared on GQ Japan/China featuring one of the top male models right now, Paolo Anchisi. The project was lensed by Adrian Mesko and styled by Jacky Tam under Grant Pearce. Paolo donned dapper looks by Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford and Etro to name a few.

I think it was interesting to see the variances with both editorials. I think I preferred the GQ China variant better. The Ralph Lauren Purple Label shot with the lady model was too candid/red carpet rather than editorial.
